Our paraplanning service is a very simple concept. You send us a case instruction by completing a submission form and providing us with access to the client factfind.
For new money, this will generally be the only information that we require. We will liaise with you to plug any gaps and will then write up the documentation set and send this over to you.

For replacement business, you will also need to send us an existing or new letter of authority, together with any information you may already hold on the existing plans. We will then gather the necessary information required to conduct cost comparisons and, off the back of this, will confirm if the proposal is viable. We will then write up the documentation set, deal with any compliance queries and provide you with the approved documentation set, together with any further forms or instructions for instigating the replacement.
To help you meet client expectations you will be provided with access to our Case Viewing System, which details our progress on cases that we are working on for you. It also provides you with access to all relevant forms and information to enable you to access our service.

There is a joint responsibility between the financial advisor and Thomas & McMurray Ltd to ensure that the Data Protection Act 1998 is adhered to. Before you appoint us to undertake work for you for the first time we will ask you to complete and sign a Data Processor Agreement. This form must then be retained by you.
